Dear Members,

Captains Charity Day

Captain John Hyland has asked me to pass on his thanks to you for your support for his Captains Charity Day. The ARC Cancer Support Service and the Scoliosis Department, Crumlin Hospital were the worthy recipients of the proceeds. Their representatives who attended on the day expressed their gratitude for this contribution to their work. Saidbh Turner, Keith's daughter, was the undoubted star of the occasion when she spoke so eloquently on behalf of Crumlin.

Use of GPS on Course

The Committee has asked me to remind members that the use of distance measuring devices is not permitted during Club Competitions in Tulfarris.

Social Levy

Members are also reminded that, if they have not already done so, they should ensure that their "Social Levy" amounts are used for the purchase of food and beverage, accommodation, green fees and purchases in the Golf Shop before the end of February 2011. It really is a case of "use it or lose it".
