Dear Members,


Yesterday evening's scramble was well attended once again - golfers started in brilliant sunshine but finished in the rain! 
The runners-up were John and Mary Curley with a score of 28.4 and the winners on the evening were father and son - Noel A and Alan Kelly with a great score of 28.0. 
Congratulations to them.

The Scramble is on again next Wednesday - from 5 to 6.30 p.m.

Bank Holiday Opens:

This weekends Open Competitions are on Sunday and Monday. The format for Sunday will be a 4 person team event (2 to score on each hole) and Monday will the usual four ball. The entry fees are €10 for Members and €20 for Visitors. The time sheets are available on line or give Norma a call.

Captains Prize: 

The entry sheet for the first day of the Captains Prize (Sunday 7 August) will be available for bookings later today. Please note that there will be a draw ahead of that day for the various half hour time slots. So be sure to check your final tee time and playing partners ahead of the Sunday. 
Good luck to Captain Pearse for a good day, good golfing weather - and go easy on the pin positions please! 

The Lady Captain's final day takes place also on the 7th - the ladies will tee off from 12.30 p.m. - Good luck to all the Ladies. 
Tickets for the Captains Dinner and Prizegiving which will take place on Saturday 13th August will be available for purchase from this weekend on. Tickets are €35 each.
Brennan Cup: 

Finally, the Brennan Cup Semi Final will be in Wicklow Golf Club on Friday 5th August at 3.00 p.m. and all possible support for the Tulfarris team would be welcome.
