Newsletter October 23rd 2015

Dear Members,

Captains’ Charity:

Captain Ciaran and Lady Captain Mary would like to say a huge thank you to all the members, friends and businesses for their very generous support and help in making this year's Captains Charity such a great success. On the day, between team entries, sponsorship/donations and raffle takings just short of €6,000 was raised for St. Anne's School on the Curragh. The Gents Club have generously agreed to round up the final figure to an even €6,000 and a cheque for that amount will be presented to the school next week which will be extremely welcome and will be used for the benefit and enhancement of all the children in the school. The winners on the day were:

Winners: J. Lambe, F. Lambe, C. Lambe and M. Cummins (108 pts)

Runners-Up: D. Ash, O. Welsh, D. Yeates and K. O'Connor (104 pts)

Third: N. Robinson, M. Carvill, S. Dore and C. Magee (103 pts)
