Please see below the latest updates from the club.
The draw for the matchplay is available online and in the pro-shop. First round to be completed by the 5th July.
Weekend Competition times:
Following further discussion, we are extending the deadline on Saturdays from 1pm to 5pm. So effectively members are eligible to play in the competition on Saturday to 5pm and on Sunday to 1pm. This will be effective from this Saturday 23rd May until further notice.
Please note this does not apply to the men's President's and Captain's prizes.
Due to the large number of new members joining us this year, we wanted to highlight some competition restrictions from our men's club constitution. New members in their first year are not eligible to win Golfer of the year or first prizes in the President's or Captain's prizes.
Unfortunately, we came up short in Blainroe last Sunday. As team managers Mark Reilly and myself really appreciate the effort the whole panel put in in preparing for the event. Thanks also to Peter Pedersen and Tom O'Neill for their support on the day. Although it didn't go our way they represented the club proudly.
The team on the day was:
Paul Reid & John Horan/ Darren Ash & Les Broderick
Charlie Magee & Declan Fitzpatrick/ Pat McCartan & John Devereux
Eoin Roddy & Aidan Pierce
Darren Ash and his panel take on Blainroe in the next round of the Leinster Fourball this Saturday. Tee off in Tulfarris is at 1410 and Blainroe 1330.
The Cullen Cup begins this weekend where Tulfarris take on the defending champions Woodbrook in their backyard at 4pm this Saturday. Best of luck to Lady President Maria Carvill, Vice Captain Kieron Ryan and their team.
All support as always most welcome.
Bank Holiday Opens:
It's never too early to start thinking about your golfing plans for the June bank holiday. All friends, family and colleagues are most welcome and we will have the usual team competition on the Sunday and a singles on the Monday.
