Newsletter February 10th 2013

Dear Members,

Met Eireann predicted that a major rain front would arrive over East Leinster last night and that it would "stall" over the area for today. They were right! Despite these very difficult conditions we had a good turn-out of Members for today's Valentine Scramble.

The Prizewinners were:

Nearest the Pin (Ladies): Frances Lambe
Nearest the Pin (Gents):  Cuan MacAogain
Longest Drive (Ladies):  Claire Lambe
Longest Drive (Gents):   Alan Tierney

3rd Place: 45.4: Phelim Dolan, Richie McDonell , Kevin McDonald, Denise Sexton
2nd Place: 44.2: Cuan MacAogain, John Sexton, James O'Neill, Frances Lambe
1st Place: 42.3: Brendan Daly, Pearse Daly, Pat Curley, Mags Ryan

Congratulations to all the prizewinners - well deserved in difficult playing conditions.
