Firstly, on behalf of both committees, may I wish all of you a relaxing and enjoyable Easter with family and friends.
Bank Holiday Opens:
With weather conditions expected to be excellent and the course in lovely condition, can I just remind everyone that there are tee times still available for the singles on Sunday and the 4BBB on Monday.
Tom O'Neill Newsletter:
The March edition is attached and available on the club website and is full of useful information including teaching tips and the rules corner.
The singles and doubles draws are now available on the website. Password for the file is tulfarris. Peter Pedersen is currently updating the website with the relevant contact information.
Let the competition and banter begin!
The first round of the singles is due to be completed by the 3rd May and the doubles on the 10th May. Please update the sheet in the pro shop with the result and send an email notification to the following:
Peter Pedersen (email@example.com) &
Kieron Ryan (firstname.lastname@example.org) &
Eoin Curley (email@example.com)
The competition secretary has stressed that the deadlines for completion of each round will be strictly administered this year. This is due to the larger participation than in previous years and the subsequent pressure to have the finals on Sunday 4th October.
Pace of Play:
As we move into the busy season, the committee has released a general pace of play & etiquette guideline document which is available on the website and posted in the pro-shop. Please take some time to consider this information.
Pierce Purcell Shield 2016:
Finally, I'm delighted to confirm that Tulfarris will be a host venue for a qualifying event on the 11th & 12th June 2016. Special thanks to Mark, Norma and the resort for accommodating our request. Tulfarris has a strong tradition in this GUI event and hopefully it will be a wonderful occasion.
