Manager - Stephen Cullen
Semifinal: Away to Corrstown:
The Tulfarris team was John Horan and John McCarthy, Leonard Murphy and Paul Reid, John Hyland and Les Broderick, Alan Britton and Dave Reid and Greg Edwards and Brian Nolan.
We were all very disappointed but afterwards Team Manager, Stephen Cullen, said that each member of the panel could hold their head high and he thanked them for all their efforts through the Qualification stages and then in the Leinster Quarter Final. "Getting into the top four from the more than 170 affiliated clubs in Leinster was a great achievement", he said .
Captain Noel A Kelly thanked Stephen and the panel for their great work since April in getting the Club this far despite our relatively small membership numbers. He congratulated everyone involved and thanked all those members who had caddied, ball-spotted and generally supported the team.
Callan came out ahead of Coollattin in the other semi final and the home draw obviously worked again to the advantage of Corrstown as they came out as Leinster winners at the end of today.
Quarterfinal: Defeted Edenderry at Bodenstown
John Hyland and Les Broderick, Micheal McGrath and Leonard Murphy, Alan
Satelle and Charlie Magee, Alan Britton and Dave Reid and John McCarthy and John
Horan were the five Tulfarris pairs who came out ahead with a 3/2 win in a
closely fought contest.
